Keep watching charges of anti-Semitism. Was Representative Ilhan Omar anti-Semitic when she claimed AIPAC was purchasing American foreign policy? Was Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy anti-Semitic when he claimed that George Soros, Mike Bloomberg, and Tom Steyer (not Jewish, but with Jewish forbears) were buying a national election? Omar apologized when criticized. Would McCarthy apologize? How vitriolic is this going to get? Will the Republicans retreat? The Democrats rarely react to comments like McCarthy’s. Maybe they should.
