You can make a difference in the 2020 election. You can give money. You can volunteer.
Take some time. Think about which House, Senate, Gubernatorial, or other candidates you want to donate money to. You don’t have to give a lot of money. You certainly can’t give money to every candidate. Think about how you want to invest: a particular region, women candidates, African Americans, the House of Representatives, the Senate, flipping districts, protecting vulnerable Democrats. Go to candidate websites and donate.
Volunteering is a different level of commitment. You might volunteer for only a few candidates. You don’t have to be in their neighborhood. They may ask you to make phone calls, for instance.
There are organizations that focus on sending post cards to Democrats. To get out the vote. To make future registration easier. Try PostCards to Voters or Field Team 6 or Tony the Democrat or Swing Left or Indivisible. Each of these groups has a way you can be helpful. Get out there and help.
